Your First Designer Handbag

So, at last you've got the money saved up, or you've had an unexpected windfall, or someone has decided to treat you!

But, which one should you choose?

Ideally, you will want to choose a bag which is a classic and it will need to go with everything, as you will want to show it off everywhere you go and not just leave it sitting in your wardrobe!

Bearing all this in mind, good choices for designers are:-

My own first designer handbag was a

which I was lucky to be able to purchase at a big discount whilst working for them as a stylist.  I still have it and use it today.

You can buy discounted Stella & Dot handbags here.

I would love to hear what was the first designer handbag you bought, and on what occasion?  Was it bought for you as an 18th birthday present, or did you buy it for yourself to celebrate getting your first paycheck?  Please share your stories in the comments below!

Who Is Fashion Jewellery Fanatic?

Hi, I'm Fashion Jewellery Fanatic and I'm a self confessed, well, Fashion Jewellery Fanatic, and that's why I've decided to start this blog, to share my love of all things Fashion Jewellery and Fashion Jewellery related!

How do you know if you're a Fashion Jewellery Fanatic, like me?  Well with me, the first clue was how much I loved going through my mum's, grandma's and great aunty's jewellery boxes!  I loved pulling out all the pieces, trying them all on and hearing the stories behind them - who had bought them, who for, when were they bought and on what occasion?  Each piece of jewellery had a story to tell - of courtships and weddings, parties and dances - I loved them all!

As an adult therefore, it's probably no coincidence that I have gone on to have various jobs which have involved working with fashion jewellery!  As a retail manager, as a network marketer and most recently, as the owner of my own online fashion jewellery boutique.
